For the hours your hands are busy.

Why Amber is different
Talk, don't type
No keyboard, no mouse, no app to open. Say "Hii Amber" from across the room.
Every room, in sync
Two to four Amber in a home, and they all know each other, and your phone.

Room-filling sound
The whole front of the base is the speaker, behind one cast metal grille.
Always connected
Joins your home Wi-Fi once and stays connected, with a private link from the device outward.
Built to stay connected, without the fuss.
Amber joins your home Wi-Fi once during setup and stays connected from then on. A private, encrypted link runs from the device outward, and there is no phone to pair and no app to keep open.

Four moments a day, hands free.
Not a spec sheet. Four things that happen in a real house.

Cook
Recipe up, music on, hands on the board.

Connect
A friend on screen the whole time.

Focus
Big enough for two to lean in and see.

Unwind
Lamplight, a record, the lights slowly down.
Overview
What Amber is made of, and what she does, in one place.

Amber, First EditionOne object for the room: screen, speaker, and her.
DisplayOne wide 2:1 touchscreen
One wide landscape touchscreen, roughly 2:1, set in a thin champagne metal frame with the camera tucked into a small notch at the top. The interface is warm white rather than blue white, so it reads like lamplight and never glares across a dark room. Wide enough to follow a recipe from the far side of the counter, or see a face clearly from the sofa.
SoundFull-width speaker base
An integrated speaker base that runs the full width of the body, behind a single piece of cast filigree. The pattern is the speaker: sound comes through the metal lace instead of a fabric panel, so the front of the base stays a finished surface. Tuned to carry a room at conversation volume and to hold its shape when you turn it up.
Voice"Hii Amber", from across the room
Wake phrase "Hii Amber". Talk from across the room; touch the screen when you prefer. No keyboard, no mouse.
HomeTwo to four Amber, in sync
Two to four Amber per home, in sync with each other and with your phone. She works alongside the lighting, blinds and other connected devices already in the house, and a second unit needs no setup of its own: it finds the first one and joins it.
ConnectivityHome Wi-Fi, set up once
Joins your home Wi-Fi once during setup, with an encrypted link from the device outward. No phone or app needed.
MaterialsShell, stone and cast metal
Mother-of-pearl, onyx or rose quartz stone; cast champagne, gunmetal or rose-gold grille; three knurled metal knobs.
In the boxAmber, power supply, quick-start card
Amber, her power supply and a quick-start card, in a rigid bone-white box lined in silk. Nothing to assemble, nothing to pair, and no accessory to buy before she is useful.
DimensionsPublished before shipping
Amber is built wide rather than tall, so she sits along a counter, a console or a bedside table instead of standing over it, and she is weighted to stay exactly where you put her. Full measurements are published with the final specification.
Amber is in development. Final specifications are published before the First Edition ships.
Some things arrive better in a box.
Every Amber ships in a rigid bone-white box lined in silk. Add gift wrap at checkout and we tie it, write the card in your words, and hold the shipping email so the surprise survives. Buying for more than one room? Two Amber take 10% off the set, three take 12%, four take 15%.

Questions, answered.
What is Amber, exactly?
A standalone AI home computer. One wide touchscreen on a speaker base, made to sit in a room and be used from across it. No phone to pair, nothing to plug in but power. You talk to her, or touch the screen.
When does the First Edition ship?
Reservations are filled in the order they are placed. We email you a confirmed ship window as soon as the manufacturing dates are locked, and email again with tracking on the day your Amber is dispatched.
Am I charged now?
Yes. The full price is charged at checkout and your place in the First Edition run is held from that moment. Cancel any time before it ships for a full refund.
Does it need my Wi-Fi?
Yes. Amber joins your home Wi-Fi once during setup and stays connected from then on. There is no phone to pair and no app to keep open.
Is she always listening?
Amber waits for "Hii Amber" and acts on what you say after it. She is not built to listen in on your home in between. What we collect when you place an order, how we use it and how to have it deleted is set out in full on our privacy page.
What about the warranty?
Every First Edition ships with a one-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, counted from the day your Amber is delivered. The warranty page sets out what is covered, what is not, and how to make a claim.
From the first homes.
- ★★★★★
She sits on the kitchen counter and the counter is finally clear. Recipe on the screen, music on, hands where they need to be.
Dana R., Austin - ★★★★★
We started with one in the living room and had a second in the bedroom inside a month. Beginning a record downstairs and walking into it upstairs is the part I did not expect to love.
Marcus T., Leeds - ★★★★★
Ebony against a dark wall looks like it was made for the house. Guests walk over to touch the grille before they work out what it is.
Priya S., Toronto
Say hii, Amber.
"Hii Amber, dim the lights."
The third name your home will learn. Reserve yours from the First Edition and she is listening from the day she arrives.
