What is Amber, exactly?
A standalone AI home computer. One wide landscape touchscreen sitting on a full-width speaker base, made to live in a room and be used from across it. There is no keyboard, no mouse and no phone to pair. You talk to her, or you touch the screen.
Do I need a phone or a computer to set her up?
No. Amber works on her own from the moment she is plugged in and joined to your Wi-Fi. Your phone can pair with her if you want your calendar and contacts on the screen, but nothing about her depends on it.
Which finish should I choose?
Pearl is the original: white mother-of-pearl with a champagne grille and frame. Ebony is black onyx with a gunmetal grille and a champagne frame, and it holds its own against a dark wall. Rose is rose quartz with a rose-gold grille and frame. The device is identical inside all three, so choose on the room.
Am I charged now, or when she ships?
Now. The full price is charged at checkout and your place in the First Edition run is held from that moment. There is no deposit and no balance later.
When does the First Edition ship?
Reservations are filled in the order they are placed. As soon as the manufacturing dates are locked we email every holder a confirmed ship window, and you get a second email with tracking on the day your unit is dispatched.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes. Change your finish, change your delivery address or cancel at any time before your Amber is dispatched, and a cancellation is refunded in full. Email us your order number and we handle it the same business day wherever we can.
What if I change my mind after she arrives?
You have 30 days from delivery to start a return. The unit needs to come back complete, in its box, with the power supply and quick-start card. Full detail is on the returns page.
What warranty comes with her?
A one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, running from the day she is delivered. If a covered fault appears in that year we repair or replace her at no cost to you. Full detail is on the warranty page.
What does she need to get connected?
Just your home Wi-Fi. Amber joins your network once during setup and stays connected from then on, with no phone to pair and no app to keep open.
Is she always listening?
Amber waits for "Hii Amber" and acts on what you say after it. She is not built to listen in on your home in between. What we collect when you order, how we use it and how to have it deleted is set out on the privacy page.
How many Amber does a home need?
Most homes run two to four: kitchen, living room, bedroom, desk. They find each other with no setup and stay in sync, so a song started in one room carries into the next. Two units take 10% off the set, three take 12% and four take 15%, applied automatically in the cart.
Can I send one as a gift?
Yes. Every Amber ships in a rigid bone-white box lined in silk. Tick gift wrap at checkout and we tie it, write the card in your words, and hold the shipping email so the surprise survives.
